Meet A
A little about me
I’m Aimee. I’m a Registered Nurse with four years of experience in Dermatology, a field that has allowed me to develop my knowledge and understanding of skin health and sparked my interest in aesthetics. Throughout my nursing career, I’ve always valued the personal side of caring for others and taking the time to listen, understand individual concerns and help others feel cared for, comfortable and listened to. My journey into aesthetics felt like a natural progression of this passion, allowing me to combine my clinical backgrounds with my interest in enhancing natural beauty. I am certainly drawn to the subtle approach to aesthetics, where the aim is to enhance rather than change, and where results remain true to the individual. Outside of my professional background, I am a wife, a dog mum to two, a self-confessed perfectionist. I’m incredibly conscientious in all aspects of my life and take great pride in everything I do, always paying attention to the finer details. I’m naturally someone who holds myself to high standards, and I believe this is reflected in both my personal and professional life. I approach everything with care, dedication and a genuine desire to do things to the best of my ability.
Qualifications
I am a Registered Nurse with over 3 years of clinical experience, and I continue to work as a nurse alongside my aesthetics practice. I have completed specialist aesthetics training with the British Aesthetic Academy and am committed to providing safe, professional treatments tailored to each individual client. My nursing background allows me to bring a strong focus on patient care, safety, clinical assessment and professionalism to my aesthetics practice. I continue to develop my knowledge and skills to ensure I provide treatments in line with appropriate professional standards.
My Approach
My approach to aesthetics is centred around subtle, natural-looking results and putting your safety first. I believe aesthetic treatments should enhance your natural features rather than change who you are. Every client is different, so I take the time to understand your individual concerns, listen to what you’d like to achieve and create a personalised treatment plan suited to you. As a Registered Nurse, I bring my clinical knowledge and experience into every treatment, with a strong focus on safety, professionalism and client care. My aim is for you to feel comfortable, informed and confident throughout your treatment journey.
Your Consultation
Your consultation is an important part of your treatment journey. I’ll take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your goals and assess your individual features and needs. We’ll discuss the treatment you’re considering, what you would like to achieve and the results you can realistically expect. I’ll also assess your suitability and talk you through the recommended treatment, including any potential risks, so you can make an informed decision. I believe there should never be any pressure to proceed. My aim is for you to leave your consultation feeling comfortable, informed and confident about your treatment plan.
Why Aesthetics By A
Choosing an aesthetics practitioner is a personal decision, and I believe trust, safety and professional care should always come first. As a Registered Nurse with over 4 years of clinical experience, I continue to work within nursing alongside my aesthetics practice. I have also completed specialist aesthetics training with the British Aesthetic Academy. I take a personalised and honest approach to every treatment. I will always take the time to understand your goals, assess your suitability and recommend what I feel is appropriate for you — even if that means advising against treatment and deciding I may not be the right practitioners for you. My aim is to provide a safe, comfortable and professional experience, with subtle, natural-looking results that enhance your individual features rather than change them.
